The island of Mykonos is well known throughout the world as a gorgeous destination in Greece. It is considered the busiest of all the islands, boasting both a great deal of nightlife as well as beautiful beaches where you can relax and enjoy some incredible views of the Aegean sea.

We spent a few days there on our honeymoon as we island hopped through Greece. We wandered through the winding streets, filled with restaurants. We explored some of the beautiful beaches, but mainly we just relaxed at our hotel, which is one of the best on the whole island… It is called the Mykonos Grand Resort and it completely blew us away…

The service is first-class as the staff anticipates your every need. The property is a picture-perfect postcard setting, which provides a magical backdrop to celebrate your Honeymoon or family vacation.

During the day, we spent a lot of time at the pool, which overlooks the crystal blue waters of the Aegean. The service at the pool was amazing and we just loved relaxing, with some food and drinks, while looking out to such unforgettable views.

There’s really nothing quite like the Greek islands, and if you’re going to go, you definitely want to take some time to just sit back and enjoy it!

One of the really special things about the Mykonos Grand is the fact that they have an elevated pool with stunning views, but also a private beach, so you can go down to the ocean, if you prefer. The sea is calm and you can spend lots of time on the white sand, enjoying the best Mykonos has to offer, without all the crowds.

One of the things that we were most impressed with was the mouthwatering breakfast buffet, featuring delicious Greek fare, fresh squeezed juices, sweets and pastries. We also had an incredible gourmet dinner at the restaurant. Scott particularly loved the dessert and I had to hold him back from ordering a second one… We were in bathing suits during the day, after all :)

Treat yourself to a day of relaxation at the Althea Spa with a custom facial, body scrub or massage to invite balance and tranquility into your day. While, you can venture into town for dinner and Mykonos’ world-famous nightlife, this resort is so special, you might never want to leave.

So, if you’re planning a trip to the Greek Islands, we highly recommend staying at the Mykonos Grand for a few days. You won’t regret it!!
